During a recent concert tour in Thailand, Aardvark Jazz Orchestra member, Peter Bloom and pianist/harpist Mary Jane Rupert gave the world premiere of Elizabeth Vercoe's Butterfly Effects, composed for Bloom and Rupert and featuring flute, alto flute, bass flute, piccolo and harp. They also performed the world premiere of Between Heaven and Earth, written for them by Thai composer Narong Prangcharoen.

October 16 marks the release "Treasures III: Social Issues in American Film 1900-1934" with improvisational soundtracks by Aardvark musicians. 'Treasusures III" brings this early 20th-century period to life through 48 rare cartoons, serial episodes, newsreel stories, and features preserved by the George Eastman House, the Library of Congress, the Museum of Modern Art, and other archives.
